About Us

I was born and raised in Bowie, Maryland.  I enlisted in the United States Army straight out of college and Ft. Jackson was my first duty station. After I left the military, my wife, Susan, and I decided to settle and bring up our family in Lexington and it has been our home for the past 24 years.  We have been married for 26 years and we have two beautiful daughters: Peyton and Lauryn!  Free time activity's include golfing, traveling, and when the weather is warm spending afternoons on Lake Murray.  

 I started my career serving my country and my community, serving eight years with the US Army, then 17 years with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. After retirement, I joined a large, privately owned commercial refrigeration company as the controller. With my help, the owner realized how profitable the company was, and decided to sell it to a private equity firm. It was a privilege to help transform the company from a private to a corporate entity, with which I remained as controller for two years. 
I have also helped numerous small businesses with their books as they transition from start ups to multi-million dollar companies.
